Facts in the way of carbon 'science'

Olga Galachio scoffs at the Lavoisier Society (Brave New World 13/8) for its rejection of the "overwhelming scientific evidence… that the globe is in fact warming". She should examine the facts.
There has been no increase in global temperatures over the last decade and since 1940 they have either fallen or remained stable in 40 per cent of the time. That, and much other evidence, shows that there is no credible relationship between emissions of CO2 and temperature changes. That utterly destroys the supposed scientific consensus to which Olga has apparently succumbed.
